Plano Art Association 125 Show 2023 Awards Reception

The awards reception will be held Friday, July 7, at 7:00 pm. Come meet the artists and fellow art fans. Tasty treats and beverages will be served. Live music will be performed by classical violinist.

Categories of Works Exhibited

• 2-D Artwork (Two-Dimensional, OBJECTIVE)

• 2-D Artwork (Two-Dimensional, NON-OBJECTIVE)

• 3-D Artwork (Three-Dimensional)

• Photography (Traditional & Digital)

Awards

The 2-D Objective, 2-D Non-Objective, 3-D, and Photography categories will each be awarded a first place ($500) award, second place ($300) award , and third place ($150) award and certificates. Best of Show will receive a $1,000 prize and a certificate. Awards of Merit ($50 each) will also be given to three finalists in each art genre category.

Jurors

Bev Boren 

Bev is a signature member of the Outdoor Painters Society and the Southwestern Watercolor Society. She is also a member of the Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society, and American Watercolor Society. 

Richard Kline

Richard is with Dallas Center of Photography. He was trained in photography and sculpture at the University of New Mexico. Richard has logged over five years of assignments shooting and directing crews in the US, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.

Roseline Faierstein Bodiford

Roseline pursued a career in the world of ballet for three decades as a performer, choreographer, and ballet master. Her background provides her lustrous oils with a sense of theatre and spatial harmony.  Her work in bronze and clay whispers for the body, the beauty, and the glow of life. 

Exhibit Dates and Hours

The show opens Friday, June 30, and runs through Sunday, July 30, at the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson, TX 75082.

Regular hours: Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm and open hours when other events are scheduled.
