Urban Sketchers DFW – LETS SKETCH DALLAS CITY HALL!

Dallas City Hall is one of the city’s most recognizable architectural landmarks, designed by renowned architect I. M. Pei and completed in 1978. Its dramatic inverted-pyramid form and wide civic plaza create striking perspectives, making it a compelling subject for sketchers. The surrounding plaza, fountains, and downtown skyline provide a variety of viewpoints and sketching opportunities.
Recently, the building has also been in the news as city leaders debate its future—studying whether to invest in major renovations or relocate city operations to a new site.
