The DeSoto Artist Lab Residency Program is back and bigger than ever with our 5th annual artist residency opportunity!
Applications are now being accepted through January 9, 2026, at 5pm.
We’re on the lookout for bold, brilliant, and passionate artists, from painters to poets, dancers to digital creators, to bring their talents to life right here in the heart of DeSoto! Whether you’re just starting out or have been creating for years, this is your chance to grow your craft, connect with the community, and make something amazing.
What’s in it for you?

From 1 to 6 months, you’ll dive into your artistic practice with full support—whether you’re a solo creator or part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Whether you’re a sculptor, singer, muralist, filmmaker, or anything in between, we want you to be part of the magic in DeSoto.
Spots are limited to up to 10 artists who will be selected through a competitive process. So, bring your best ideas, your passion, and your vision. Let’s create something unforgettable together!
