The Goodrich Gallery and First United Methodist Church of Dallas present a retrospective exhibition of works by Texas artist Katherine Baronet, celebrating more than three decades of artistic practice spanning painting, drawing, and mixed media.
Baronet’s work explores themes of transformation, healing, and the human spirit through expressive figurative imagery and richly layered surfaces. This special exhibition brings together works from across her career, offering viewers a rare opportunity to experience the evolution of her artistic voice.
The exhibition’s featured cover work, Mother Mary’s Wings, is a striking graphite and acrylic drawing on Coventry rag that reflects the artist’s powerful combination of technical precision and emotional depth.
Baronet’s work is held in private and corporate collections across the United States, including the Hilton Anatole Hotel and Children’s Hospital in Dallas. She also served for five years as Artist-in-Residence at Methodist Richardson Cancer Center, where she created a deeply personal series of large graphite drawings inspired by healing and resilience.
