In partnership with Project Unbroken, Empower Texas Teens, a teen-led organization based in Frisco, Texas presents an exhibition at thegallery8680! The theme for this show is “Healing is Not Linear”.
Submissions for art are FREE for all DFW residents. You may register through this form HERE. The deadline to register to be an artist is July 19th, 2026.
Entries will be accepted in the categories of painting, drawing, photography, digital art, sculpture, mixed media, printing, or other forms of visual art. 2D artworks must measure at least 8’’ x 10’’ and up to 24’’ x 36’’ maximum size.
Free submission for one image. If your piece has multiple parts, it will be considered under one entry. You’ll be asked to submit a picture of your artwork in mid-July, where the gallery organizers will determine if the piece is feasible for the gallery. Please read our Terms & Conditions for more information.
Please make note of these dates and times:
- July 20, 2026 → 2D Art Pieces (excluding digital art & canvas paintings) may be handed to the Empower Texas Teens team at the Frisco Public Library in order to mate the pieces. More details will be shared as we get closer to this date
- July 28, 2026 → Official exhibition day! This event will be taking place from 3 P.M. – 6 P.M. at thegallery8680 (address: 8680 Main Street Suite e1, Frisco, Texas, 75034). You will pick up your pieces at the end of the event if it’s not sold.
All artwork sold must remain on display until the end of the exhibition.
Artwork must stay in thegallery8680 exhibition on July 28 between 3 P.M. – 6 P.M. CST. After this duration of time, art may be picked up and taken with the artist if not sold. We understand that emergencies and illness happen; however, any changes or requests must be communicated to ananya.s.reddy27@gmail.com or kristabelkim01@gmail.com
Artists retain 70% of commission/donation from all sales generated through the show. The remaining 30% will be split among three parties: Empower Texas Teens (organizers), thegallery8680 (venue host), and Project Unbroken (event beneficiaries). Pieces will be priced by an official art curator. We accept art that is not for sale.

Empower Texas Teens, thegallery8680, or Project Unbroken is not responsible for any damage, breakage, replacement or cost associated with any damage or breakage that may have occurred not under each parties’ care. Every precaution will be taken in handling the entries, but Empower Texas Teens, thegallery8680, or Project Unbroken assumes no liability for any loss of damage to any artist’s work while in our care, custody or control, before, during or after the exhibition. Each artist, if they wish, should provide their own insurance.
USE OF IMAGES:
Any image submitted may be used for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to this show or future shows without further remuneration to the artist. This use may include publication in any publications, printed materials, advertisements, or electronic media. Copyright and all other rights remain that of the artist.
