The Discovery Gallery at the Texas Discovery Gardens presents a distinguished group of Texas based artist. Betsy Bass, Penny Bisbee, David Blow, Lori Cusick, Giza Elwazir, Jane Cornish Smith, Jackie MacLelland, Brenda McKinney, Jan Partin, Marie Renfro, David Roden, David Schulz and Irwin Stone.
These artists reached the honor of Signature Member by being juried into 5 Citation Exhibits that occur once a year. It takes a minimum of 5 years to accomplish this status.
The Texas Visual Arts Association inspires communication and cooperation between artists and the Dallas community by providing multimedia exhibitions. Since 1947, the organization was known as the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Fine Arts Association. In 1986 it was re-incorporated as the Texas Visual Arts Association (TVAA) and acquired a new state leadership with members from east, south and west Texas. The organization maintains approximately 200 members each year, all in diverse media, to produce the most interesting exhibitions from the community.
This annual exhibit showcases our long-standing members and their talented work. We are honored by our membership and celebrate their continued participation in the TVAA, year after year. We are excited to celebrate with them and look forward to another amazing show from our Signature Members! 🥂
