
Submit your art for the 2019 Senior Arts Festival! FREE!
The Heritage Senior Center in Irving will again host a Senior Arts Festival in August. The Center will exhibit art by senior citizens 50+ all month. Reception will be Friday, August 2nd, 6:00-8:30 pm and will feature demonstrations by art instructors and musical entertainment by senior citizen musicians.
The Center is accepting submissions from artists through July 26th. FREE!!!! For specifics on the size and mediums of art accepted, please pick up the Artist Entry Packet at the front desk or request it through email. Address: Heritage Senior Center, 200 S Jefferson St, Irving, TX 75060.

Eligibility to Enter: Senior Adults 50 years and older, they do not have to be an Irving resident.
Media & Limitations
MEDIA: Original 2D work in the following media will be accepted: Oil Painting, Watercolor, Pastel, Multimedia, Photography, and Sculpture
There is a maximum of three entries per artist.
The wall art is not to exceed 24 x 36 in. (Maximum)
Original 3D work will be accepted as long as it can be safely hung and meets all criteria for hanging, size and weight. All artwork must be completely dry. No artwork in progress will be accepted.
Sculpture size must not exceed either 13 in. or 18 in. high by 15 in diameter., and 12 pounds in weight.
LIMITATIONS: This is a family-friendly show. No works that are controversial, obscene, sexual or insensitive will be accepted.
Maximum artwork dimensions (four sides added together) including frame is 24 by 36 inches with no one side bigger than 36 inches. Framed entry may not weigh more than 20 pounds. All entries must be show-ready, sturdily framed, tightly wired and completely dry. Gallery wrapped paintings may be unframed if they are finished on all sides. Saw tooth hangers will NOT be accepted.
