Meet the speaker Michelle L. Burrell, CPA
Michelle L. Burrell is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 25 years of diverse financial, tax and business consulting experience. She has held audit and senior management positions with a major public accounting firm, in the banking industry and in her current employment at Emanuel C. Burrell, CPA. Michelle is dedicated to helping clients achieve business success by providing them with practical and sound accounting, tax and financial preparation and consultation.
Michelle is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Dallas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She earned a B.S. degree in accounting from Southern University and A&M College and a M.S. degree, finance concentration, from the University of Texas at Dallas.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Michelle is dedicated to her community. She is a 27-year Girl Scout Troop leader, and is a Service Unit team officer in the Girls Scouts of Northeast Texas Council. Michelle is also a longtime church Sunday School teacher, one of her most cherished positions.
