Preservation is the Art of City — call for new artists

If you would like to be considered for the 2020  Preservation is the Art of the City® Art Show & Sale, please sign up for one of the ten minute slots on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b094dada82aa2fb6-2020

Artists must be from the North Texas Metropolitan area.  If you participated in the 2019 Preservation is the Art of the City Art Show, you do not need to sign up for Jury Day.  Artists who were in last year’s show will be notified by letter of their status for this year’s show. If you are new to the show or have not participated in the last 3 years, you must sign up for Jury Day unless notified otherwise.

On Jury Day, submit 4 examples of recent work (no slides) with a price list for those works.  These need not be the work that would be entered in the show, but the general style, size and price range must approximate the work you would exhibit.  Artists should bring or email a bio/resume outlining any professional experience and/or education in the arts field.

Evaluation criteria include work quality and how the work would mesh with the show in terms of medium, style, subject matter, size, price and sales potential.

We hope to see you on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.  This event is a benefit for Historic Fort Worth, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) charity.
