2020 University of Dallas Art Graduates and Virtual Art Showcase

Dear Friends of the Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery,

I hope you will join me in congratulating this years’ graduating art students!

Three cheers for Veronica Barrera, Jamie Gardner, Michelle Gonzales, Stephanie Janysek, Richie Peña, Lucy Starhia, Agnieszka Rostkowski, and Emily Wingert!

I would like to invite you to view this virtual art showcase of their great achievements. The work presented here is the culmination of an intensive and engaged studio research practice by each of these students.

Normally, as many of you know, we would invite you to view the Senior Shows on campus and our Masters of Fine Art Thesis exhibitions in various galleries across the DFW Metroplex. However, this year has been everything but normal. So today, as The University of Dallas marks this 2020 Commencement, we invite you to view the artwork of  Veronica Barrera, Jamie Gardner, Michelle Gonzales, Stephanie Janysek, Richie Peña, Lucy Starhia, Agnieszka Rostkowski, and Emily Wingert virtually here.
I encourage you to explore this virtual space and spend some time with the art of these students; linger with their individual pieces, read their artistic statements, and take note of their biographies. As you will see  this is a talented cohort of ambitious emerging artists. They’re each well on their way to enriching the world with their art and we could not be more proud!

Congratulations graduating art students!

Sincerely,

Christina Hayes Haley,
Director, Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery
