Artists Circle Call for Art: Fantasy – deadline Aug. 15

Fantasy- Art that depicts magical or other supernatural themes, ideas, and creatures. It takes on the style of a graphic novel with the work being representational and natural rather than in an abstract interpretation.

Submission Deadline: Saturday, August 15th at midnight
Notification and Publication Date: Tuesday, September 1st, 2020

The Artist’s Circle is an online gallery and all entries can be submitted through the website. Mediums of work accepted include painting, photography, drawing, mixed media, pottery, metal, fiber, sculpture, and assemblage. theartistscirclegallery.com

The works must have been completed within the last ten years (2010-2020). This is a juried exhibit and not all work will be published.

Application fee and Submission requirements:
Each artist is limited to 5 images per submission. There is a $20.00 non-refundable fee, and payment must be made online at the time of entry. Only one of the submissions may be a diptych or triptych set. Please make sure images are clear and high quality for publishing.

Awards: Best in Show, 2nd place, and honorable mentions. The Best in Show winner will also receive a free online solo show, and six pages in Volume II of our coffee table book series.

Jurors: Maegan Kirschner and Brandon Kirschner (co-owners of AMK Studio, The Artist’s Circle online gallery, and The Artist’s Story Gallery) will jury each exhibition.

The exhibition will be publicized via our website, social media, and press releases. The Artist’s Circle reserves the right to use images of accepted work for the purpose of publicity to promote the artist and the online gallery.
