The Great Art Escape: Virtual Fundraiser Nov. 14 for ArtCentre of Plano

Only one week remains until bidding opens for the For the Love of Art: The Great Art Escape. In the meantime, you have a great opportunity to see how the art will look in your home or office. Does the color work? Is the size correct? Will it fit in your space? This is a unique chance to check it out for yourself.

Whether you are looking for a painting, a piece of pottery, a handmade scarf or unique designer jewelry, you will find them all by visiting the ArtCentre of Plano in-person or by registering for the online art auction from the comfort of your home. Online bidding will open November 2 and run through November 15.

New Exhibition to Feature Art by North Texas Artists

More than 50 North Texas artists will be featured in a new exhibition opening at the ArtCentre of Plano on October 16, 2020. The artists have donated their unique works to support the ArtCentre’s upcoming virtual fundraiser For the Love of Art: The Great Art Excape that will take place online from November 2 – 15. The ArtCentre of Plano is located at 902 E. 16th St., Plano, TX 75074. The exhibition will be open through Saturday, November 14, 2020, Tuesday – Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Face masks are required and social distancing will be maintained.

Among the artists to be represented in the exhibition and art auction are Stephen Zhang, Mike Newman, Jean Newman, Kelly Hrad, Jane Jones, John Van Ness, Jim Bowman, Christine and Keith Miller and many others.
