The Irving Art Association is sponsoring the 6th annual Persian Art Exhibition, an online only exhibition depicting works of art from Iranian artists who live in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. It is a great honor for our community of artists to showcase artwork.

112 works from 42 artists are included in this exhibition.

ONLINE RECEPTION & AWARDS:
Sunday, March 14th 2-4 pm Central Time via Zoom

THEME: “2020 Hindsight” The exhibit theme is a saying by Rumi “Come, let us appreciate each other, because you never know we might be suddenly separated,” (Divan-i Kebir, v. 3, no. 1535) reflecting the current Coronavirus situation. This concept of appreciation can include COVID-related gratitude but is in no way limited to topics related to the coronavirus. Any art submission that touches on the theme of gratitude and/or a deeper sense of appreciation for your families and communities is welcome. A wide range of subjects and media were also welcomed in this open exhibition.
