April 17 – May 8 Paint Oil Landscapes Outdoors:
Let’s get outdoors and paint in oils! This series will introduce oil painting through “en plein air” landscape painting in and around Dallas. We will focus on the basics of painting in oils to capture flora and geography while exploring mark, light, and depth.
April 22 – May 13 Bold and Dynamic Charcoal Drawing:
Make bold and dynamic black and white drawings with charcoal! This series will introduce drawing with charcoal, a very painterly medium that is ideal for exploring ideas and capturing observations quickly.
May 15 Film Photography Portraits:
