Soul Art Renewal Exhibits

Soul Art Renewal is a multi-gallery and multi-media celebration of art and artists in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that will be display at GDAC in Summer 2021. The project’s aim is to focus on healing, hope, and community resilience and renewal in response to the impact the pandemic has had on the arts community. The project includes a catalog which will feature all the works presented in the exhibitions and programming in support of the exhibition and community healing and renewal.

Greater Denton Arts Council is hosting a call for our upcoming exhibition featuring art, poetry and photography as part of our multi-exhibit project Soul Art Renewal: A Community Response to COVID. Our collaborative exhibition of photography and poetry is a multi-disciplinary exploration of how the COVID pandemic has impacted artists from both the visual and literary arts fields. Poems and photographs will be displayed together in the Gough Gallery.

For more information see https://dentonarts.com/exhibitions. Exhibition is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts as part of the CARES Act.
