TAG Ready to Resume 2021 Monthly Meetings
After a lot of hard work and elbow grease, the TAG Gallery and Studio is ready for shows, workshops, and, finally, meetings. The floor has been painted, gallery walls prepared and construct- ed, and the demo mirror unpacked from storage. Members are looking forward to getting back together for artist demonstrations, Painting of the Month competition, art talk, and the all important refreshments. Health safety precautions will be observed. Here’s our upcoming schedule of meetings.

Meet Margie Whittington
Demo Artist for TAG Monthly Meeting, September 13, 7 p.m.
Margie Whittington is an award-winning Fort Worth artist who works in pastels, watercolor, acryl- ics and oils. In addition, she has taught watercolor at the Upstairs Gallery for more than 15 years. In addition to many top art association shows, she has been featured in the Preservation Is The Art Of The City Art Show And Sale benefiting Historic Fort Worth, Inc.
Margie attended the University of Texas at Arlington where she studied commercial art. Her art association memberships include signature member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society in Dallas, Texas, and signature member of the Society of Watercolor Artists in Fort Worth, Texas.
Margie has studied with many professional water media artists such as Al Brouillette, Judi Betts, Doug Walton, Maureen Brouillette, Tom Lynch and oil painter, Jean Chambers, just to name a few. Margie is currently a member of an art group known as Canvas by Canvas. This is a group of 11 artists who paint interesting and colorful subjects together. Each of their finished paintings is the result of the combined efforts of a majority of the members of the group.
