Cluley Projects Open Call deadline Nov. 30

Cluley Projects Open Call

Deadline: November 30, 2021

Cluley Projects, Erin Cluley Gallery’s new satellite space located in West Dallas, is delighted to announce an open call for exhibition proposals in preparation for its 2022 season. The mission of the project space is to uplift emerging artists in its region, foster community, and offer diverse programming by providing space for experimentation outside of the standard gallery format. With these values in mind, the open call process is slated to happen each year, establishing a reoccurring opportunity for creatives in the state of Texas.

Submissions must be sent through the portal linked above. Applications by hand/mail/email/etc and incomplete applications will not be considered. There is no fee to apply, and the deadline is 11:59 PM on November 30, 2021.

Proposals will be reviewed by Cluley Projects and Erin Cluley Gallery staff. The selection process will take place during the month of January 2022 and applicants will be notified on or by February 15. The winning proposal will receive a month-long slot in the summer 2022 exhibition schedule, an honorarium of $500, professional photographic documentation of the show, and mentorship as needed.

About Cluley Projects and Erin Cluley Gallery

Erin Cluley Gallery’s new satellite gallery Cluley Projects opened in April 2021 and is housed in an 1100 sq ft space on Sylvan Avenue within walking distance from the Belmont Hotel. Cluley Projects will act as an incubator space focusing on regional artists and providing a platform for discovery and mentorship.

Erin Cluley Gallery opened its doors in West Dallas in 2014, igniting a creative movement and acting as a hub for visual arts and community engagement. After nearly five years on Fabrication Street, the gallery moved its main operation to Riverbend – a development in Dallas’ Design District celebrating the intersection between culture and commerce.
