The Southwestern Watercolor Society will continue its series of one-day classes on Saturday, May 14th with award-winning artist, Walt Davis. This one-day class is for beginners to watercolor painting or experienced artists who want to rediscover the basics. Walt Davis has been painting in watercolor for over 40 years and has taught classes and workshops at universities, museums, and arts groups throughout Texas. Building wildlife dioramas at the Dallas Museum of Natural History provided boots-on-the-ground experience depicting the Texas landscape and its plant and animal inhabitants and its vernacular architecture. Expect a fast-paced, supportive, and light-hearted day exploring the foundational skills that lead to competence and the ability to express a personal vision in watercolor.
