Press Release Tips: Lecture Tuesday 9/20 FREE at the Cedars Union

PRESS RELEASE TIPS:
LECTURE AND Q&A W/ WILLIAM SARRADET

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH
6:30-7:30PM @ THE CEDARS UNION

Social media and email lists have made it easier to promote your own events, but press media still plays an important role in who sees and hears about an art show or public project. How do you snag a spot in a magazine, or entice a writer to write further about your work? A well-written press release is important. In this lecture William Sarradet, Assistant Editor of Glasstire, will discuss the best practices for writing and distributing a press release, covering do’s and don’ts over a lecture and Q&A.
