Tin is a common material used in the popular arts of Mexico. See and touch some examples of Mexican tin art, and then make your very own painted tin ornament to take home with you.

Have you ever wondered how to make those beautiful impressions in tin? Would you like some really special Holiday Ornaments to send out this year? Looking for a fun activity to experience with the entire family? If any of these apply to you, then please come join us for a fun afternoon of Mexican Folk Art making Tin Ornaments.
You will be guided through the process by Junanne Peck and get a taste of what it’s like to create your own Tin Ornament. There will be a selection of various custom-designed Holiday tin works to choose from. At the end of the workshop, you will have learned the basics of Tin Work, and you will bring home a set of 5-10 of your very own handmade ornaments.
