Workshop Title: Beginning Woodcut Workshop

Workshop Date: Saturday, 9/2/23, 10am – 2pm
Cost: Non Member: $100 | Goldmark Artists/Printshop Members: $80
During this entry level workshop we will create (carve) a 8×6 woodcut block using relief printmaking tools (u-gauges and v-gauges). We will print a small edition on paper (Rives BFK).
Students are encouraged to bring a sketch, however woodblocks with pre-transferred designs will be available for students to carve.
Although this is an intro/beginning class all skill levels are welcome! There will be a 30-minute lunch break- students are encouraged to bring a sack lunch.
Ink and tools will be provided by Familia Printshop.
