A master at composition and design, Julio Reyes understands the discipline of being intentional in your work and designing a painting before your paint. In this Procreate workshop, students will discover how to transform your creative process using Procreate in this hands-on workshop for artists of all levels.
In this intimate setting in E. Melinda Morrison’s studio (Fort Worth,TX), students will learn how to strengthen composition, improve shape design, and make more confident color decisions before ever touching paint to canvas. Through demonstrations and guided exercises, you’ll explore practical ways to use Procreate to experiment freely, refine ideas, and create more successful painting outcomes.
This workshop will guide students through the essential functions and tools within Procreate, including how to merge multiple photos to create dynamic reference material, adjust and redesign color schemes, simplify shapes, test compositional changes, and solve visual problems with ease. By learning to manipulate images digitally, artists can quickly explore possibilities and make stronger artistic choices with greater confidence.
