The 9th Annual ‘Unique by Nature’ Juried Art Competition and Exhibition is hosted by the Historic Downtown McKinney Cultural District with help from the volunteers of the Arts and Music Guild.
In 2020, one large scale work will be awarded the $6,000 Purchase Prize and will become part of the permanent public art collection displayed at McKinney Performing Arts Center. $28 entry fee and online submission only. Deadline Friday, March 20, 2020 at 7pm.
An additional $2,500 in prize money will be divided among works of art juried into the exhibit (non-purchase prize) and chosen by the judges. To submit entries for prize awards, art work must be submitted in-person on Saturday, March 28, 2020. $25 fee for up to two works of art.
‘Unique by Nature’ is open to professional and emerging artists who are legal residents of the United States and have been residents of Texas at some point in time. Entrants must be at least 17 years of age by May 2020.
